Deep Sea Sharks

Did a revamp of my deep sea shark Inktober from 2015 in Risograph

I’m really happy with how the Risograph added colour and style to this old piece! I’m loving Risograph as a medium at the moment as I feel it gives my work a lot of texture and depth and also forces me to think about limited palettes.

This print will be a very limited edition of just 30! If you’d like to grab one I currently have them for sale in my Etsy shop here

New products added this week!

I’ve added some new products to my Etsy store

I’ve added the badges I designed in conjunction with the Kickstarter campaign for our comic. People who bought a physical copy received the whole set of pins for free, now people who missed out can get the set for just £2 here

The creatures featured are:

Angler Fish

Honeycomb eel

Goblin shark

Giant Pacific octopus

Creatures of the Deep pin set

Assorted steampunk gears

Made from upcycled brass and silver coloured gears with silver plated studs. Perfect for steampunk fans!

Cuttlefish earrings

I’ve also added these lovely hand drawn cuttlefish earrings. I drew these on shrink plastic myself and I’m really happy with how they’ve turned out!  Those of you who follow my blog are probably aware of my octopus obsession already, so I’m sure you can understand why I’d make these beauties!

Animal skull studs

Because I love biology so much I made these lovely animal studs. There’s a choice of Owl, Bear and Bull skulls and they all look really cool. Again these are hand drawn into shrink plastic by myself. I personally like the Owls the best!

New items in my Etsy store

I’ve added several sets of studs to my Etsy store

The Sushi and the Totoro earrings are made from shrink plastic and hand drawn by myself! Shrink plastic is incredibly light and won’t weigh your ears down at all 🙂 I’m planning on taking a trip to Japan next year so I made these earrings partially out of excitement and partially because I plan on watching all the Ghibli films over the next month or so (and eating a LOT of sushi)

I’ve also added mixed button sets. All the buttons are recycled vintage buttons I’ve collected, and are all around 5mm-10mm and extremely light and look adorable worn! There’s quite a large choice of colours to choose from a well, I personally like the purple and red the best!

All my earrings are silver plated so are great for people like myself with sensitive ears!
I’ll be updating the blog with more additions as well as updates on the comic and updates on conventions I’ll be attending over the following week! Stay tuned 😍

New items in my Etsy store!

Hi guys! I have some pretty new items in my Etsy store

I’ve added some new Jewellery

No-Face drop earrings

Made from shrink plastic, measuring 2 1/2 inches so they’re quite long but STUNNING. No-face is my favourite Ghibli character by far so I couldn’t resist making them.
Iridescent red button earrings.

Made with recycled buttons, the buttons are so shiny and pearly. They look quite alternative while at the same time staying classic looking.

Vintage 60s/70s style button earrings

These vintage buttons look absolutely lovely as little stud earrings. They have a 60s / early 70s feel to me and would definitely look great with a summer wardrobe!

Handmade shrink plastic Sushi earrings.

I originally made these because I think sushi looks beautiful and I wanted a set for myself. It turned out that these were my most popular sellers at the comic con I attended this weekend so I made them available to buy online!

Newly added prints

Thomas Sharpe- Crimson Peak

Originally drawn with my dip pen and ink, then scanned in and digitally coloured. This print is on a4 300gsm hammered card to a very high standard. Any excuse to draw Tom Hiddleston of course!

David Bowie as Jared the goblin king.

Digital painting of David Bowie as the goblin king, printed on A4 hammered 300gsm card. This print was my best seller at comic con so it’s by popular demand that I add it to my Etsy store. Labyrinth was one of my favourite childhood films so a lot of love went into this painting.

No-face

I decided to make some earrings of my favourite Ghibli character today, No-face

IMG_3383.JPG

They where pretty fiddly to make and I made all these little individual pieces but I’m pretty happy overall with them and have decided to put the more sale on my Etsy store. At some point in the next couple of days I’ll be writing about my weekend at Thoughtbubble in Leeds this weekend 🙂 so stay tuned
